When I was learning how to keep dogs off my grass, I discovered a few tricks to get rid of those dogs.
Dogs can be very attracted to the grass that they see, and whether it is your dogs or not, there are many things that you can do to keep that dog away from your grass.
Throughout this article, you will discover three of the most powerful tricks for keeping that dog away from you. It may be a bit hard at first, but they can help you out a lot in the end.How to keep dogs off my grass?
Use Artificial Grass
This is an oldie technique that I once learned in the past. Many people found this to be very nice and easy to do since the grass could be installed by a professional company. If your grass is already fully grown and you don’t want to remove all of it, consider putting artificial grass around some parts of the lawn. Once they know that it isn’t the real thing, there are good chances that the dogs will end up going away.
Put A Bowl Of Water in Front Of Your Synthetic Lawn
If you didn’t know already, it is completely human nature for a dog to defecate somewhere outside of their rooms or their cages. Why? Because they know that they are going to eat, drink, and sleep there. By placing a nice glass of water at the front of your grass, the dogs won’t feel like they should do their business on your lawn anymore. They will think that it is a place where they can eat or drink. It is best to outline that there are some people who have tried this and saw huge results right away. When I was learning how to keep off my grass, this technique helped me the most at first.
The Sprinklers
Try timing how often other dogs go to your lawn and do what they do best. Once you realize a time and date on when they go to your lawn, try turning on the sprinklers during those moments. This will enable you to get those dogs off of your lawn since they often don’t like the water. Many dogs hate getting wet and taking baths, so you will find this technique and quite sneaky but powerful. Try doing it a couple of times and you will see those dogs avoiding that lawn of yours.
I had a friend ask me, how do I keep dogs of my grass? I told her about all of the techniques above, and she noticed huge results. It is all about implementing what you know.
Try using one technique above for now to see what could happen. You may end up with those dogs avoiding you right away, but if they don’t avoid your grass, then you will find that the other techniques should be more helpful. Just keep on experimenting to see what mainly works.
